Our goal is to truly focus on solutions, not just conversation.

Uncubed’s annual HR leadership conference returns with a high-profile, diverse lineup of content, a new location, and additional professional development accreditation.

HR Uncubed takes place on June 10th and 11th, in Brooklyn’s Industry City, the multi-purpose creative complex overlooking the waterfront. The 2019 conference will focus on the largest challenges and opportunities in modern talent acquisition: diversity, equity, & inclusion, building employer brand, remote work, and new tools and tech for hiring.

Uncubed has invested heavily in building the diversity and inclusion content, which will include talent practitioners from top companies.

“Diversity and inclusion is by far the leading topic of interest across this community of talent professionals,” said Tarek Pertew, Chief Creative Officer of Uncubed, adding “but our goal is to truly focus on solutions with this content, not just conversation.”

Featured speakers will include: Bo Young Lee, Chief Diversity Officer at Uber; Shaun King, writer, activist, and CEO of the North Star; Sarah Nahm, Founder and CEO of Lever; Ramcess Jean-Louis, Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Verizon Media; Lauren Lopez, Global Senior Director of Human Resources at the NBA; and Lisa Lee, VP of Global Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at DoorDash, among others.

“Our speakers will come from the full spectrum of organizations,” said Pertew, emphasizing the educational, networking, and takeaway-rich value for attendees, which include talent leaders at tech startups, non-profits, publishers, and the Fortune 500. “We think it’s one of the things that makes our content so applicable to so many HR and talent professionals.”

Uncubed is projecting 50% growth in attendance over the 2018 conference, continuing HR Uncubed’s ascent as a must-attend HR leadership conference both in New York and in the US.

In addition to the diversity and inclusion content, employer brand strategies and case studies feature prominently in the content, including sessions on developing employer brand video, designing and launching a new careers site.
