Lattice announced a new people analytics solution, Lattice Analytics, that’s meant to give HR and managers access to performance, engagement and management data from across the organization.
The product, Lattice Analytics, helps HR teams better understand the dynamics behind management issues such attrition (why are people leaving?), management skills (what managers need help?), peer-to-peer feedback, balance, and diversity & inclusion efforts (are we doing enough?)
The company believes its tools will help employers strengthen company culture by making decisions based on both qualitative and quantitative factors. It envisions five use cases: measuring employee engagement, understanding employee performance, tracking adoption and ROI of employee programs, visualizing management practices and building a diverse workforce.
Through a series of dashboards, Lattice Analytics works across the Lattice platform’s entire suite. Depending on the product being used, the dashboards take on a variety of forms including heat maps, line graphs, bar graphs and scatter-plots. In addition, it enables users to filter data around a number of data points.
Because customers have the ability to create custom fields,
Lattice said the possibilities for data-point filtering “are literally endless.”
Lattice typically sees customers filter across employee and company information
such as tenure, gender, department, salary band and performance ratings.
Lattice Analytics and Culture
Lattice calls Analytics its first step in creating a platform that helps companies build workforce management programs even as it provides HR and leadership with data-based insights that can improve culture.
Many customers already use its platform’s data to discuss organization
culture at all-hands and board meetings, Lattice said. Over time, the company
plans to build more features that make data sharing easier, and also find ways
to more easily surface workforce insights.
In October, San Francisco-based Lattice launched its second product, Engagement. With it, the company said, it become the first HR technology vendor to combine performance management and engagement into a single system. In November, it unveiled project-based reviews through a designed specifically for agencies and consulting firms.
