Salary:      £39,610 to £48,676 plus £4715 London weighting per annum
Contract Type:      Permanent

We are looking for a subject matter expert, who is highly skilled in leading on HR employment policy, procedure and guidance development and maintenance.

You will be experienced in coordinating Policies Working Groups to support policy development and delivery; driving best practice and helping to inspire and encourage a mindset the supports effective delivery and embedding of HR policies, procedures and guidance.

The job holder will provide subject matter expertise and support to the HR leadership team, whilst supporting on a range of ongoing and ad-hoc HR activities/projects and initiatives that contribute to the university’s strategy and related plans.  As part of the whole HR Team, the job holder will contribute to the efficient running of the Directorate and will support the implementation of the University’s People Strategy.

The job holder will also be responsible for managing the delivery of HR communications across the University and the day to day management of our Occupational Health and Employee Assistance Programme provision. The job holder is expected to operate this role effectively within a matrix management structure and work at all times in a collaborative manner; they may also be required to manage project(s) and related project team(s) to deliver their remit.

The success of this post will depend on building strong relationships across the HR Team, Professional Services and Academic units across the University.
